Njoku pledges to do more for community after chieftaincy title

United States of America based community leader, Sir Celestine Njoku has pledged to do more for his community after being bestowed with the chieftaincy title of Dike Eji Ejemba 1 of Onyeaghalanwanneya.
Onyeaghalanwanneya is a community in Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo state that comprises of Umuohiagu, Logara and Obiangwu.
Njoku who was honored with the title by HRH Eze Felix Iwejuo, Ogaraku 11 of Logara said the title would spur him to do more for his people.
“It is a thing of joy to be recognized by your own people. Myself and my wife, Lolo (Lady) Fidelia Njoku are happy and we would in our own little way continue to contribute our quota to the development of Onyeaghalanwanneya.”
Chief Njoku who has since returned to the US after receiving his title on the 24th of December said he was impressed with the peace and security in Ngor Okpala noting that he is praying for peace to return to every part of Imo State and Nigeria.
Njoku charged the nation’s political leaders to do more for the people as that is the only way to reduce poverty and suffering in the country.
