NLO Club Owners Insist On Physical AGM

The Club Owners of Africa’s largest grassroot football League, Nationwide League One (NLO) have insisted that the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place in person on Friday December 12th in Abuja.

Initially, the NLO Executive Board considered hosting the meeting virtually due to rising security concerns.

However, club officials have expressed a strong preference for attending in person, emphasizing the importance of the gathering.

In light of this feedback, the NLO Secretariat has confirmed that the AGM will indeed be an in-person event, noting that the commitment from club representatives to participate despite the challenges demonstrates their dedication to the league’s growth and collaboration.

According to the statement from the Secretariat, attendees are to arrive in Abuja on Thursday December 11th and depart on December 13th.

Additionally, it noted that the exciting MTN-NLO Cup final is scheduled for December 12th, adding to the significance of the event.

The Secretariat stated that further details will be shared with the congress members, as the NLO appreciates the ongoing support and understanding from the clubs during these trying times just as it stated that the organization looks forward to constructive discussions and a productive AGM.
