NNL Chairman, Aluo congratulates Chief Nnaji on his emergence as CAPM Vice President
Chairman of Nigeria National League (NNL), Mr. George Aluo has congratulated Chief Jonathan Nnaji on his recent election as the Vice President of the Africa Modern Pentathlon Confederation (CAPM).
Chief Nnaji’s emergence was during the elective Congress of the African body at the election held in Saudi Arabia from November 15 -17, 2024.
In his congratulatory message, Aluo described his emergence as a recognition of his efforts at developing Pentathlon sports not only in Nigeria.
“Your victory did not come to me as a surprise considering your contributions in developing Pentathlon Sports in the country.
” I’m confident that your election will open a new chapter in the history of Pentathlon sports in the continent as well as help achieve the vision of the body which is hinged on having athletes that will compete favourably at the international scene and as you embark on your new assignment, I wish you good luck”, concludes the statement
African countries that participated in the elective Congress in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia includes Cote d’Ivoire, Namibia, Senegal, Central Africa Republic
and Kenya.
Pentathlon, an Olympic Sports is made up of five sports. They are: Fencing, horse racing (jumping), shooting (Pistol shooting), Running. All as one sport a Olympic sport.
