NNL Chairman, Aluo Felicitates Christians On Easter Celebration
As Nigerians today join millions of Christian faithfuls around the world to celebrate this year’s death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Chairman of Nigeria National League ( NNL), Mr. George Aluo has sent a goodwill Easter message to Christians.
In his Easter message, Aluo, while commending Christians for a successful Lenten season, urged them to embrace the teachings of Christ,which is love, forgiveness , peaceful coexistence, sacrifice, hope, renewal, and victory of life over death.
” I want to commend all Christians on the successful completion of the Lenten period and celebration of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
” As we celebrate this year’s Easter today, let us remember the lessons of Christ resurrection which symbolizes sacrifice, forgiveness , peaceful coexistence, hope, renewal, and victory of life over death and use it as a guide in our everyday life.
Aluo concluded his statement by wishing all Christian faithfuls a happy and joyous Easter celebration.
