NNL: Heartland, Sunshine beaten as Lobi win at home

Lobi Stars started life in NNL on a good note beating City FC of Abuja at their adopted home in Lafia.

While Lobi managed a 1-0 home victory, the duo of Heartland and Sunshine Stars failed to perform.

Amuneke’s Heartland were beaten black and blue in Ogbomosho by Crown. The homers scored three un replied goals.

Edel Nnewi on their part defeated Sunshine by a lone goal.

In Conference D Adamawa United were held to a goal less draw by visiting Sporting Supreme of Abuja in the only week one pairings that failed to produce a goal.

Abia Comet also started on brilliant note at the Enyimba Stadium beating Smart City of Lagos by 2-0.

Inter Lagos put a five star performance away from home as they secured a 1-0 victory over neighbor’s Gateway FC.
