By Ifeanyi Eduzor

It was goals galore in the Nigeria National League (NNL) on Sunday with just one more week to end of Conferences A and B.

On the whole 20 goals were scored in three matches decided on Sunday.

The harvest of goals started in Ikenne where reigning champions Beyond Limits walloped Igbajo United by 7-0 in a game the hosts used to bid Igbajo bye to the NNL. It would be noted that Igbajo alongside Ijele and 1472 stands relegated given their standing on the league log.

Warri Wolves playing at home hammered Dakada 4-2 while Sporting Lagos and Solution FC settled for a 3-3 draw at the Awka City Stadium.

The home victory was enough to see Warri Wolves secure a ticket to the season ending Super 8 billed for later this month at a yet to be named venue.

Other teams that have since booked their place in the Super 8 are Yobe Desert Stars, Wikki Tourists, Doma, Barau FC, Kun Khalifa and Crown FC.
