NNL: Jigawa fail to survive relegation, as City, Mailantarki also go down

Jigawa Golden Stars and Mailantarki Care FC failed to survive relegation after the conclusion of Conferences D of the 2023/2024 NNL season.

Although, Mailantarki defeated Jigawa by 2-1 in the last match of the conference but that was not enough to prevent  the team from escaping relegation to the NLO.

Both teams had 14 points each with Kebbi Utd but the later escaped the drop with a superior goal aggregate.

City FC of Abuja that came last on  Conference D log with 10 points also joined the two teams to be relegated to the NLO.

With the conclusion of Conference D, attention will now be shifted to the conclusion of the  three other conferences of the league.
