NNL: Jos bubbles as Mighty Jets, ABS go to war

Plateau state FA Cup runners-up, Mighty Jets International FC of Jos will look to face ABS FC with renewed vigor as they square up against the Kwara-based side in the 2023/2024 NNL match day 13 clash at the New Jos Stadium, Zaria Road.

With ABS FC in the drop zone, Mighty Jets Int’l FC are fully aware of the tricky nature of the tie but are also determined to do their homework and get the desired result on their home turf as the fans would in their usual manner, bring the pleasant noise capable of spurring them on.

Having put up a spirited performance in the State FA Cup final against title-challengers Plateau United at the weekend, there is every reason to think that Najib Mabo’s team can get a favourable result on Wednesday in Jos.

It will be recalled that Mighty Jets Int’l FC snatched a vital point away in Ilorin the last time these two sides squared up against each other, and so there is growing believe that a first victory in the NNL second stanza is in the horizon.

Mighty Jets International FC sits 6th on the log albeit with a game in hand ahead of their opponents who are 7th in conference C having played twelve games so far.

Fans are expected to turn up en masse and support the team from 3pm in Jos as a win will put them in good stead in the bid to consolidate on their NNL statures in the group.
