NNL, NALCOMA take clubs to boardroom for mid season retreat

Organizers of the nation’s second tier league, NNL are set to take clubs to the boardroom for a mid season retreat being put together alongside club owners body, NALCOMA.
This much has been confirmed by the Chief Operating Officer of the league Danlami Alanana.
Alanana in a release made available to the media in Abuja disclosed that the retreat would run from January 23-25 at the Remo Sports Stadium in Ikenne.
Alanana said the retreat which would attract the 36 clubs from Conferences A-D is being put together as a way of x raying the journey so far after the first round of matches.
“The conference in Ikenne is a capacity building one aimed at strengthening the league and making it better. With the accolades we are getting and the corporate support that is coming our way, we can’t afford to rest on our oars and that is why we are heading to the boardroom for a mid season retreat. We would be taking a wholistic look at the journey so far and see areas that call for improvement,” Alanana stated.
He pointed out that renowned football buffs would be in Ikenne to speak to the 36 club managers.
He stressed that corporate bodies partnering with the league body would be at the retreat which he described as a “gathering of one big family.”
