NNL Super 8: Crown FC gaffer attributes loss to hard luck

Coach of Crown FC, Ayodeji Alexander Ayeni has blamed hard luck to his team’s 0-1 loss to Kun Khalifat in their Match Day 1 encounter, declaring that they deserve to at least shared points with their opponents
The Ogbomosho side committed an early minute penalty which resulted in the only goal of the encounter and all their efforts to restore parity proved abortive
He told Newstap com.ng shortly after the encounter that mother luck was against them as they dominated proceedings of the game but were unlucky not to find the back of the net..
” When you watch that match, you’ll agree with me that we dominated proceedings but our opponents immediately they scored that early minute penalty, packed the box and all the efforts of my players to equalize proved abortive”, he lamented.
He was however optimistic that that they’ll pick the maximum points in their next match as he’ll be going back to the drawing board to correct mistakes he discovered in the first match.
” I will definitely correct the mistakes discovered in the first game and ensure we win our next match because it will go a long way in determining our performance in the tournament”, he concluded
