NNL Super 8: My boys played to instruction, says Kun Khalifat handker

After guiding his team to a hard fought 1-0 victory over Crown FC in Match Day 1 of the ongoing NNL Super 8, Kun Khalifat gaffer, Obinna Uzoho, has attributed the victory to team, playing to instruction.

The Owerri based side scored a penalty in the first three minutes of the highly explosive encounter and held onto it till the end of the full 90 minutes and Uzoho believes is a good start for them at the competition

According to him, before the commencement of the match, he told his players to go for an early goal and defend it with their blood which worked out for them
” I’m highly excited picking the maximum points in our first game. This was possible because my players kept to my game plan. I instructed them to go for an early goal and thereafter defend it and am happy the plan worked out perfectly well for us”, he said.

On what to expect in their next match, he stated that they’ll be going for the full points positing that his players are physically, psychologically and mentally prepared for the championship
