NNL: Why we appointed Coach Osho- Crown FC GM

The General Manager of Nigeria National League side, Crown FC of Ogbomosho, Olumide Ilupeju said the decision of the club to appoint Fatai Osho as their new coach was because of his experience and believe that he is the most qualified tactician that will help the club gain promotion to the NPFL.
Crown FC recently parted ways with Coach Ayodeji Ayeni, replacing him with Osho whom Ilupeju believes is capable of helping the club play in the elite league.
Speaking with Newstap com.ng at the sidelines of the just concluded NNL/NALCOMA Mid- Season Retreat at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, he stated that everybody knows what Coach Osho is capable of doing having worked with many NPFL sides before and they expect him to bring that experience to the Ogbomosho based side.
” Coach Ayeni is quite an experienced coach and we know what he did for the club when he was in charge but we needed a more experienced gaffer with NPFL background who can help us gain promotion and that was why we went for Osho.
” All of us know what Osho is capable of doing. He was the person that promoted Remo Stars and when he was in charge of Crown FC, he took the team to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
“He has also worked with many NPFL sides and we hope that with him in charge, we’ll gain promotion at the end of the season”, he sounded confidently.
Ilupeju while expressing hope that the team will gain promotion, noted that they’re tired of becoming landlords of NNL; saying that the Premiership is where the team rightly belongs.
