NOC Advance Management Course takes off in Unilorin
The 7th Advanced Management Course being bankrolled by the Nigeria Olympic Committee ((NOC) has just taken off in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The event is holding at the University of Ilorin with 20 participants in attendance.
According to a statement by the NOC Public Relations Officer Tony Nezieanya, the session was declared open by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole and was joined by Babatunde Poopola, the Secretary General of the Committee.
The statement further explained that Prof. Fasan Clement of the Health and Physical Department Lagos State University (LASU) and Dr. Jonathan Dyagas, the Finance Director of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) are the IOC -approved programme Directors for the course.
The participants are drawn from tertiary institutions and State Sports councils while Mrs. Deborah Chidiobi is the NOC Course Coordinator for the project.
