NOC President hails Mohammed Baba Abdullahi on his installation as Makama Bassa-Nge Kingdom
Engr. Habu Gumel, President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has congratulated the Nigeria Archery Federation President, Mohammed. Baba Abdullahi, for bagging the Makama Bassa Nge kingdom’s traditional title.
Abdullahi, who also doubles as the Deputy Secretary General of NOC, was conferred the title by the Kingdom’s traditional ruler, Alhaji (Dr) Abu Ali Mopa III, Bagadozhi, a retired Brig.-Gen. of the Nigerian Army, on December 27, 2024.

Abdullahi is also Vice President of the World African Continental Federation.
”You captured the attention of your people and are now handsomely rewarded with the title of ‘Makama’ of Bassa-Nge kingdom ( Dan-Niya).
Gumel was represented at the event by Engr: Ishaku Tikon, the President of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, as well as the 2nd Vice President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee.
