Smart City FC hails Amoo over Eaglets job

It has been a deluge of congratulatory messages for former Super Eagles midfielder and 3SC star, Coach Fatai Amoo, since he was appointed by the NFF as head coach of the U17 male national team.

In another message released by the management of the highly rated Lagos based non- league side Smart City football club, it described the appointment of Amoo, fondly called ‘Arsenal’ by his teeming admirers as a good sign of better days for the development of Nigerian football.

The message read that the management and players of Smart City FC, heartily rejoice and congratulate Fatai Amoo, who until his new appointment was the technical director of the team, on his well deserved appointment as the Head Coach of the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria.

” The management, officials and players of Smart City rejoices with you on your new appointment. We also thank the leadership of NFF for the confidence reposed in you.

” We truly believe in your abilities to make a positive impact in the development of Nigerian football, beginning with your new assignment as the U17 national team head coach,” it added conclusively.
