Nollywood actors, WWE stars, celebrities, others for Celebrity Global Mega Fight Concert- Ekufu

Convener of the forthcoming 2024 Celebrity Global Mega Fight Concert, Loveth Petra Ekufu says that top Nollywood stars , WWE wrestlers, world renowned kickboxers and celebrities will be on hand to entertain Nigerians at the forthcoming Celebrity Global Mega Fight Concert slated to hold in Lagos from November 29- December 1, 2024.

According to the two time kickboxing and Martial Arts (MMA) World champion, the event which will take place at Queens Park Events Centre, Water Corporation Drive/ Trinity Avenue off Ligali Ayorinde Street Victoria Island, Lagos is designed to unite the world through sports, entertainment , culture and tourism even as she assured there won’t be any dull moment throughout the three day event.

” The concert is a platform that will enable top celebrities and sports enthusiasts to connect to their brand through entertainment and sports and bring a thrilling experience to talented youths in order to promote grassroots sports development, entertainment, culture and tourism.

” It’s also aimed at discovering talented young athletes that will be harnessed into future champions”, she stated.

The United States of America based champion who is presently a Deputy Superintendent of Police further explained that the three day event will involve combat sports, kickboxing , professional wrestling, celebrity boxing, music, comedy, pageantry , fashion, talent hunt show and international global impact award.

” We’re expecting athletes from USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa and all over Nigeria. There will also be people from WWE coming while there will be one wrestling heavyweight title fight and female MMA kickboxing title fight”,she stressed.

Ekufu who noted that they had a debut event on February, 24, 2024 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja with many Nollywood actors in attendance posited that the Lagos event is an extension of the one held in Abuja and will attract many Nollywood actors who will be engaged in celebrity boxing and wrestling.

The kickboxing champion who has used her Loveth Pethra Global Care Foundation to organise yearly promotional fights for the youths, however appealed for corporate support to make the project a successful one.

She was also full of praises to the Nigerian Police who created an enabling environment for her to get to the peak of her profession, noting that she will be ever grateful to the Force.

” I must have to thank the Nigerian Police Force for making me what I’m today. Immediately I graduated from the Police School, they gave me permission to travel abroad and concentrate on my training which led to my winning a World title and am happy I didn’t disappoint them and will continue to be a good ambassador of the Force and the country”, she concluded.
