NPFL Match Day 28: Sporting Lagos target maximum points against Lobi Stars

Coach of NPFL side, Sporting Lagos, Paul Offor said he’s targeting the maximum points against title contenders, Lobi Stars when they host the team from the Food Basket of the Nation in Match Day 28 of the ongoing Premier League.
He told newstap.com.ng that his team who have found their redeem in the second stanza of the League is now poised to face any opposition just as he commended their fans for giving them the necessary support to excel.

” There is no doubt that Lobi Stars of Markurdi are in good form and one of the title contenders but we’ll give them a run for their money and get the three points at stake in that encounter”, he stated with confidence.

” It’s true that we had some poor runs in the first stanza which affected our position on the log. But immediately the second stanza began, we made some changes which has been of tremendous help to the team.

“Kudos must also go to our fans who have supported us very well and are always there for us. They even speak to the players more than I do and that has helped the moral of the players.

Coach Offor was also full of praises to the League Management Committee and the Referees Appointment Committee whom he said are doing a great job which has brought some level of credibility to the League.
” I must commend the League Management Committee and the Referees Appointment Committee for the wonderful job they’re doing. Now you see teams wining on the road which was very rare before . Referees are now doing great job, with officiating improving tremendously which had raised the standard of the League.
Offor also used the opportunity to thank his team’s management; saying they’ve been amazing which has helped the players be on top of their game
