NSC Chairman, Dikko inaugurates new Cycling Federation Board
..As Federation hits the ground running

The new board of the Cycling Federation of Nigeria, (CFN) , inaugurated Monday by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, NSC, Mallam Shehu Dikko, swung into action immediately as they set up 11 commissions to ensure they deliver on their promise to further develop the sport.
Their inaugural meeting led by the President, Engr. Giadomenico Masari, also co-opted four members to support the federation in this direction.
They are Brig-General Al-Amin Ado Ibrahim, Dr. Andrew Etsetowaghan, Dr. Sam Ogbondeminu, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange and Barr. John Fakado.
The Commissions and their heads are Technical Commission with Dr. Emmanuel Igbinosa as chairman, Road Commission, Prince Henry Amike, BMX Commission, Brig.General A. R. Bello, Medical Commission , Dr.Ogbondeminu, Women Commission , Mrs. Angela Okoro and Patrick Omorodion as Head of the Media Commission.
The Para Commission has Mr. Babatunde Ajibike as its chairman, Ethics & Disciplinary Commission, Barr. Fakado, Track Commission, Brig.General Ado Ibrahim, Mountain Bike Commission, Dr. Estetoeaghan and Youth Development Commission which is headed by DCI Farouk Umar Abdullahi.
While inaugurating the new board, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko commended the CFN for their orderly and peaceful election as he charged them to ensure they develop the sport from the grassroot to get talents who will progress to national level instead of relying on foreign-based athletes to represent the country at international competitions.
