Oyo agog for the unveiling of Oyomesi FC

A football club established by Barrister Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi, known as Oyomesi FC to represent Oyo axis in the professional cadre of Nigerian football will be officially unveiled on Saturday 20th April 2024 at Durbar Stadium , Oyo

Players, coaching crew, kits, management crew and the supporters club for Oyomesi FC will be unveiled to the public according to a statement issued by the General Manager of the Club, Alhaji. Babatunde Saheed and made available to the sporting press.

“We are not leaving any stone unturned in ensuring that we have a good outing when officially presenting the team to the public as the formation of this football club marks a historic moment for the people of Oyo town; ending years of anticipation for their very own football team,” said the GM that is also popularly known as Role Model.

“We have carefully picked good players and a result oriented technical crew that formed Oyomesi FC, a football team that will be representing Oyo, Alaafin town, just as we have 3SC from Ibadan and Crown FC of Ogbomoso. And this has also provided job opportunities for many of our youths,” Babatunde Saheed, also known as Mr. Sports, added.

He stressed further that the Oyomesi FC will commence its Nationwide League campaign on Sunday against Ogbomoso United with a view to earn qualification to higher football league cadre at the end of the season.
