Oyo Sports Commissioner, Wasilat Adegoke on cloud nine over Falcons victory

Oyo State sports commissioner, Wasilat Adegoke is on cloud nine over the victory of Super Falcons at the just concluded Morocco 2034 WAFCON.
The youthful sports commissioner who is still basking in the euphoria of Nigeria’s victory said the girls deserve to be celebrated for their hard work , patriotism and never say die spirit.
“The Falcons put virtually everything into Saturday’s match. Coming from behind to win the hosts in front of a sellout crowd was by no means an easy task. They are worthy ambassadors of our dear country,” she said.
Wasilat said the victory would rob off positively on women’s football in the country even as she added that Oyo State is already planning big for women’s football.
“Our governor His Excellency Seyi Makinde has a big plan for women’s football and that package would be unfolded very soon,” she stated.
