Paddy Obinna family hosts children on Christmas day with fun fare

The 2025 Christmas festivities must have come and gone, but the euphoria is still in the minds of many including Mr. Paddy Obinna and family as they hosted over 300 children from various parts of the country, including toddlers to a fun fare Christmas at their Umuocham Emekuku ancestral compound in Owerri North LGA of Imo State.
The venue popularly known as Paddy Obinna International Arts Gallery was full of fun for the children and even their parents who were amazingly awesome over the fun and entertainment galore with good music and Santa Claus (Father Christmas) spicing and thrilling up the entire environment with vociferous excitement among the participants.
The party started with taking the children on excursion at the multi million Naira creativity exhibition International Arts Gallery owned by the Chief Host which has become a tourist attraction in Imo State, and deserved serious government patronages.
The children and their parents were amazed on the quality of wood sculptural, painting and artistic works they saw in the gallery even as some of them shouted, ” So something like this, is in this Imo State, Ndaa Paddy is too much for humanity”.
Mr. Paddy Obinna popularly known as Mr. Creativity with international recognitions as a Sculptor par excellence and with midas touch in creative drawings and paintings, was at home answering intelligent questions from the children, as most of them developed special interest in creative art works.
The Christmas party christened, Children Christmas Fun + Skills Party which has become an annual event as it started 3 years ago was also lavishly hosted with food, drinks and gifts as the children happily, but surprisingly exhibited dancing skills of the 21st century.
The 6 hours no dull moment Christmas party was equally spiced up with Poetry recitement of poems written and sponsored by Joe-Blaise Nnaemeka Akanazu in which out of the 8 contestants, Ms. Oluchi Iwuji came first with 91.5%, Ms. Precious Oparaugo came second with 82.5% while pretty Michael Olumachi came third with 73%, they were given mouth watering incentive prizes while the others received participatory consolation prizes.
Other entertainment packages exhibited during the party, apart from dancing includes singing, spelling, drama, art, mental arithmetic, speaking, telling story, quiz, games and every child actively participated on areas of identified comparative advantage and winners were equally appreciated with gifts and monetary rewards.
It was really fun, with something to remember as the entire Paddy Obinna immediate and extended family members including siblings, daughter in-laws, son in-laws, grand children were happily involved in the excellent planning and execution of the party details.
Moreso, Mr. Chigozie Paddy Obinna, the second son of Ndaa Paddy Obinna dynasty was a true son of a lion as he in his overwhelmed excitement did Naira rain for the children in appreciation of their participation skills and sumptuously hosted parents and guardians in his beautiful sit-out.
At certain point, Paddy Obinna Jnr, frenzily ran out of happiness control as he welcomed galaxy of the community masquerades and entertainer troupes, that came to pay homage to the illustrious family and added glamour to the children’s excitements.
He and his father crazily increased the mints Naira rain with traditional acrobatic dance steps to the admiration of the special visitors.
It was really fun, a day to remember and certainly all the children will be looking forward to 2026 Christmas so as to celebrate again at Paddy Obinna Gallery, Umuocham Emekuku in Owerri North LGA of Imo State as most of the children were worriedly telling their parents and guardians.
