Bayern manager, Tomas Tuchel has expressed confidence his team will rise to the occasion when they face Real Madrid in the semi final of the UEFA Champions League.

Tuchel noted that the game against Real would be different from the one against Arsenal since Madrid play a different brand of football.

The former Chelsea gaffer stressed that having an injury free team ahead of the semi final duel would put his side in good stead to stop Madrid which he rated as the biggest club in the world.

In his words…”Hopefully we get some players back to have alternatives and a full bench. But in terms of team effort and being ready to sacrifice and suffer together, this is the benchmark. There is no other way to play football games at this level. It’ll be totally different because Real Madrid’s style is totally different to Arsenal. I didn’t watch Real Madrid too much this season. It’s one of the toughest games you can play. A semifinal against the biggest club in the world. We’re looking forward to the challenge and hopefully we’ll rise to the occasion.”

Bayern Wednesday night defeated Arsenal by a lone goal (3-2 on aggregate) to book their place in the semi final.

Real on their part secured a 4-3 penalty shootout win against star studded Man City after aggregate score stood at 4-4.
