USE YOUR CONNECTIONS TO MOVE ANAMBRA FOOTBALL TO GREATER HEIGHT, OBIKWELU CHARGES ILOENYOSI

The Vice Chairman of Senator Ifeanyi Uba led Anambra FA Board, Bar. Jude Chuks Obikwelu (KSJI) has called on the new Anambra FA Chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi (Gen.) to use his connections and wealth of experience to move Anambra State football forward.

Bar. Obikwelu made the call during the official handover ceremony from the former board to the present one led by Chikelue Iloenyosi (Gen.) at the FA Office in Awka.
He stated that apart from the handing over ceremony, they are also at FA secrtariat to congratulate him following his confirmation as the Chairman of Anambra FA by Nigeria Football Federation Board.

Bar. pledged the loyalty and support of the out gone board to the new board and maintained that they are willing to assist anytime they are called upon to do so.
He disclosed that the handing over was not delibrately delayed but they had to wait until there is a substansive Chairman, hence it is coming up now.
Bar. Obikwelu who was accompanied by four others including Bar. Joe Amene, Chief Kingsley Udu, Ada Edwards and Emeka Ralphel, disclosed that they lost two of their members, Dr. C.C. Amuzie and Albert Chinwe, he later handed over the 18 seater Joylong bus and cheque books of FA account with Zenith and UBA banks; and wished him luck in all his future endevours.
Responding, Gen. Iloenyosi commended the former Board members for their love, understanding and integrety which depicts the quality of the former Board members. He promissed to work with them to take Anambra FA to the next level.
In his remark, the Ag. Secretary, Mr. Ralph Nweke thanked the former Board members for the ceremony.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of the handing over note by Bar. Obikwelu to Chikelue Iloenyosi (Gen.)
