Pre Season Friendly: Best Talent FC Wallop PRO Soccer Academy 6-1 in Lagos

Ahead of the much anticipated 2024/2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO1) season, Best Talent FC of Mowe, on Wednesday defeated PRO Soccer Academy of Lagos 6-1 in pre- Season friendly held at Car Park C.

The Ogun State Football giant under the tutelage of the new tactician, Coach Babatunde Farouk Yusuf, who started the game with high intensity and great attitude took the encounter far beyond the reach of their hosts.

Best Talent young and exciting 17 year old football maestro, Basuaye opened goal scoring account at 29 minutes and he increased the tally to a brace at 43′ before making it a hat trick at 75 minutes. He completed the total massacre netting 4 goals at the 86′ of the encounter.
No wonders, the fans name him a mercurial player and rave of the moment !

Other net shakers from the Integrity side, Best Talent Football Club were Olabayo and Abubakry at 51 and 62 minutes respectively with a consolatory goal recorded for PRO Soccer Academy.

Having worked with Magate FC, Fackson Tofido, Coca-Cola Junior school and other club sides with different laurels, the grassroot exponent, Farouk Yusuf has set the ball rolling immediately he resumed work playing six games losing one in all.

Speaking with the Best Talent Media Coordinator, Sunday Agunbiade, Coach Farouk said, he appreciated the Chairman of the club, Mr Adeyinka Adeyemo for his massive support since he was appointed as the Head Coach of the side.He extended same to the Management and the commitment of the players to grind the results. He noted that their doggedness and resilience were vehement in recording the massive victory against their hosts.

In his words: “I like to give a big kudos to my players and the entire crew for doing a wonderful job today. They all played well and stick to instructions . The tactical inputs were internalised and reflected in the results. They neutralize the homers right from the blast of the whistle and I am very proud of them. “.

“My Chairman is a man of many parts and influence,ditto the entire Management team, medical, media are all supporting in making this happen. Football is all about team work and I hope they will continue to sustain and possibly increase the tempo.We are still building this team and once it reaches the taste we desire, victory will be more evident.
