Presidential aide, Adeboye mourns demise of Tade Azeez

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye has extended his deepest condolences to the friends and immediate family of late Alhaji Tade, former National President of the Nigeria Football Referees Association
In his condolence message titled “Rest Well,Teddy’ he noted that the late Tade Azeez was more than just a sports administrator, describing him as a pillar of dedication, love and commitment to sports, particularly grassroots football just as he stated that his passion and tireless efforts to promote the beautiful round leather game will forever be remembered.
“During his day as Vice Chairman, Lagos State Footbal Association (LSFA) and as National President Nigerian Football Referees Association, I had the privilege of sharing moments with him and I cherish the memories of our interactions, which were always filled with warmth and a shared passion for sports, particularly football.
“His legacy in Nigerian football is indelible. He worked assiduously to ensure the growth and development of football referees in Nigeria and his impact will be felt for generations to come. His love for the game was contagious and he inspired many with his vision and leadership styles.
“As we mourn his passing, I pray that his soul finds eternal rest.
To his family, friends, and the entire football community, I offer my heartfelt condolences.
May the memories of Otunba Tade Azeez continue to inspire and motivate us to carry on his legacy.
May God comfort us all during this difficult time”, concludes the statement.
