Pro -Wrestling Africa scribe congratulates the newly elected Nigeria Wrestling Federation President
Prominent wrestling promoter Olusesan Olukoya and 
Secretary General of the Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), has warmly congratulated Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Dr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on his election as President of the Nigeria Amateur Wrestling Federation (NAWF).
In his congratulatory message, Olukoya praised Adeniyi’s victory as a sign of unity and a promising turn around for the growth of amateur wrestling in Nigeria. He expressed confidence that the new leadership will strengthen the federation’s structures, foster athlete development, and boost Nigeria’s competitiveness at continental and global levels.
Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) is a continental professional wrestling organization that promotes and develops wrestling across the continent, with a goal of elevating the sport in Africa.
Established in 2015 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Central Africa, PWA has promoted championship events in countries like Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, and is expanding its reach to other nations.
The organization is a key part of a larger movement to bring professional wrestling to a mainstream, culturally significant level in Africa.
Olukoya reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Adeniyi’s administration through collaboration and grassroots programs, stressing the importance of building a sustainable and inclusive wrestling ecosystem. He wished the new President and his executive team success as they embark on this new chapter.
Olukoya also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote wrestling growth and unity across Nigeria, be it amateur or professional, as he sees amateur talents metamorphosing to professional wrestlers after their career.
