Pro Wrestling Africa to Partner Danski Pro Wrestling

..Agreement Signing Scheduled for July in Denmark

Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) has announced a strategic international partnership with Dansk Pro Wrestling (DPW), with a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) scheduled to be signed in July during the DPW Summer Camp in Denmark.

According to the two organisations, the partnership marks a significant step in expanding African professional wrestling into the European stage while creating structured pathways for athlete exchange, training development, and cross-continental event collaboration.

They noted that the purpose of the partnership is of paramount importance to the development of the mat man’s game internationally; saying that the collaboration is designed to amongst other things, establish athlete exchange programs between Africa and Europe, provide advanced technical training opportunities for African wrestlers, facilitate joint events and championship showcases, promote cultural exchange through sports entertainment and strengthen global visibility for African professional wrestling.

They listed key areas of co-operation to include athlete development and exchange which will involve selected wrestlers from PWA affiliated countries participating in training camps in Denmark, while European talent will feature in African championship events.

The organisations while stating that joint events and championships is of great concern to them, explained that both organizations will explore co-branded events, including special international showcase matches, positing that coaching and technical development, workshops and certification programs will be organized to elevate coaching standards and production quality just as they assured that media and brand collaboration training will cover digital content co-production, livestream collaborations, and shared promotional strategies with increase global reach.

On the significance of the July Summer Camp Signing, they said the it symbolizes,; commitment to structured international growth, Institutional cooperation beyond exhibition matches and a long-term professional sports diplomacy between Africa and Europe while the Summer Camp will also serve as a scouting and evaluation platform for future collaborative programming.

This partnership, they said, positions Pro Wrestling Africa as a credible continental governing and promotional body and as a gateway for African wrestlers to access European platforms as a catalyst for global sports entertainment integration

“This partnership with Dansk Pro Wrestling represents a historic bridge between Africa and Europe in professional wrestling. It is a step toward structured global expansion, athlete empowerment, and continental recognition.” stated Olusesan Olukoya, the Secretary General of the Pro Wrestling Africa.

According to Tim Kinning the head trainer at the Dansi Pro Wrestling, “It is a good intention in the right direction. The Only way pro wrestling can go internationally is up and all hands should be on deck to take it there. We are indeed excited to be part of this timely initiative”

PWA scribe, Olukoya, further stated that the body is looking forward for a fruitful and rewarding collaboration with the Denmark Pro Wrestling body while also trusting on a great working collaboration with time.
