Chief Executive Officer of PROSTAR, a leading sportswear manufacturing outfit, Chief Paul Maduakor has given sportswriters body SWAN a pat on the back as it celebrates at 60.
Maduakor in a congratulatory message to SWAN noted that the success story of Nigerian sports can not be told without acknowledging the the all important role of SWAN.
“SWAN has played a crucial and major role in Nigerian sports over the years. As sports writers roll out the drums to celebrate the existence of their body @ 60 I wish them the very best. I must commend the role they are playing in lifting Nigerian sports. PROSTAR is proud to identify with SWAN,” Maduakor stated.
The Anambra born sports entrepreneur was full of praise for veteran journalists that are today playing major roles in administering sports in the country.
“The likes of incumbent NNL chairman George Aluo, Aisha Falode, Paul Bassey, Mainasari Iloh, Emeka Inyama, Danladi Bako, Godwin Enakhena, Frank Ilaboya, Deji Omotoyibo name them are all veteran journalists that the country can not but be proud of,” Maduakor stated.
