Prostar Sports International Unveils February NNL Award Winners, Reaffirms Commitment to Nigerian Football

In another bold step to recognize and inspire football excellence, Prostar Sports International, in collaboration with the Nigeria National League (NNL) and SportLight Hub, has unveiled the February 2025 winners of its prestigious monthly performance awards.
The announcement reinforces Prostar’s growing influence as a catalyst for development, professionalism, and motivation within Nigeria’s football ecosystem.

The award ceremony, scheduled for April 15, 2025, at Westpoint Hotel, behind the NNL Secretariat, Abuja, by 2:00 Pm, will celebrate top-performing players, coaches, referees, and clubs who have stood out during the month under review.

February 2025 NNL Monthly Award Winners:

Highest Goal Scorer: Anthony Ndubuisi (Madiba FC, Lagos)

Most Valuable Player (MVP): Austin Ajegbeyi (First Bank FC, Lagos)

Best Behaved Team: First Bank FC (Lagos)

Best Referee: Adekoya Warith (Lagos Referee Council)

Best Goalkeeper: Lateef Nurudeen (Igbajo FC, Osun State)

Best Coach: Uzorho Obinna (Kun Khalifat FC, Imo State)

Goal of the Month: Energy Kennedy (Godswill Akpabio United FC, Uyo)

As with previous editions, each recipient will be honored with a custom-designed Prostar trophy, along with branded jerseys and Prostar match balls, emphasizing both quality and pride. The awards, modeled with the flair of the Ballon d’Or, aim to uplift the status of NNL and its key contributors.
