National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club and Patron of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Rev (Amb) Samuel Ikpea will host a wrestling seminar in Lagos aimed at teaching wrestlers the most modern techniques in the mats man game.

The seminar slated for Friday, 18th July 2025 at the Supporters Club National Headquarters, Barracks, Bus Stop, Surulere, Lagos will attract wrestling stakeholders and fighters who will be lectured on the basic aspects of the sports.

The lead resource person will be Belgian based Congolese born Shaolin Master Nsinba Bafuka, who will be on tour of West African countries to mentor young and talented wrestlers.

According to the Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya, the seminar will provide the participants the opportunity to have a first hand knowledge of the sport from a well renowned practitioner and coach who has mentored many African wrestlers in Europe.

He was also full of praises to Ikpea for accepting to host the seminar, noting that the entire Nigerian wrestling community are proud of him.
” The seminar will be the best in recent times because a master of the game who have seen it all in Africa and Europe will be on hand to handle proceedings.

” It’s equally important I commented our distinguished patron Rev (Amb) Sam Ikpea for accepting to host the seminar. He has been a pillar of the sports. He co- sponsored a group of six Nigerian wrestlers to participate in an event in Lomé, Togo in March 2024 through his Open Doors Youth Empowerment Initiative, an NGO based in Lagos.

“Ikpeba also hosted the PWA 10th anniversary world press conference in his office, signalling active support and facilitation of PWA’s key events and his recent commitment of financial support to the upcoming pro wrestling seminar where Shaolin Master Nsinba Bafuka from Belgium would be the guest speaker, is worthy of emulation

” It will also interest you to know that Ikpea who is widely known with his role as National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), Acting as Vice President of Open Doors Youth Empowerment Initiative also engages in national and international sports diplomacy, including football exchange programs with Brazil.

” Rev. Samuel Ikpea’s role as Patron of PWA isn’t ceremonial, he provides tangible support, resources, and influence across wrestling leagues, youth development initiatives, international sponsorships, and media activities. PWA regularly acknowledges and honors his position within their institutional structure and we will ever be grateful to him for being a worthy patron of the wrestlers”, Olukoya concluded
