PWA Set To Honour And Celebrate Lagos NURTW Chairman At May Wrestling Championship
Pro -Wrestling Africa (PWA) is proud to announce that the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State chapter, Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle Sego would be honoured and celebrated during the upcoming PWA Wrestling Championship that will feature wrestlers from Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic and Nigeria the host nation.
This special recognition is in appreciation of the Chairman’s outstanding leadership, support for youth development and contributions towards community growth and empowerment.

Sego will be presented with the International Royal Award for Pro Wrestling Excellence (IRAWE) which is an international award, as he has been wrestling too in his own field and capacity as the chairman of the Lagos branch of the National body of NURTW.
The championship, which promises thrilling professional wrestling actions, will also serve as a moment to acknowledge leaders who are making a meaningful impact beyond their immediate sectors.
According to the PWA Secretary General, Olusesan Olukoya, honoring and celebrating the NURTW Lagos boss, aligns with the organization’s vision of using professional wrestling as a platform to promote unity, leadership, and community development across Africa.
Fans, stakeholders, and wrestling enthusiasts should expect an exciting event filled with electrifying matches, special appearances, and this prestigious honour presentation.
PWA continues to expand its reach across Africa, promoting professional wrestling as a continental entertainment sport while celebrating individuals contributing to societal growth.
The event will hold at the NIS Gymnasium Hall, National Stadium, Surulere Lagos, on Sunday, 3rd May, 2026, as the gate opens by 4.00pm.
