Basketball: Raptors Academy, High Flyers battle for sole NBBF TotalEnergies Division 1 League ticket from Atlantic Conference

Raptors Academy of Lagos are through to the final of the NBBF TotalEnergies Atlantic Conference Division 2 League finals going on in Port Harcourt.
Raptors blow out Anambra Basketball Club by a 30 points margin 64 to 34 points in the semi final decided on Thursday.
Raptors took the first quarter 25-7 and the second quarter ended 10-10. They confirmed their superiority in third quarter with a 17-9 and finish up the encounter in final quarter 14-8 points win.
They will now meet High Flyers of Benin City in today’s final, High Flyers eliminated Favour Arena in the other semi final by a very painful single point 75 to 74.
The first and fourth quarters went to Raptors while High Flyers picked up the second and to third quarter in keenly contested match. 23-14, 14-25, 15-23 and 23-12.
The winner of today’s final game, gets an NBBF TotalEnergies National Division 1 ticket as a reward. Before the final, Favour Arena will confront Anambra Basketball Club to determine the third placed team.
Six teams started the race to reach the final from the Atlantic Conference in the Garden City of Port Harcourt on Monday.
