Sanwo-Olu relaxes Lagos curfew

Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has relaxed the curfew in Lagos.

The governor while briefing the press today said residents are free to go about their businesses from 8am to 6pm from tomorrow (Saturday).

The governor who spoke after assessing the security situation in the state expressed satisfaction that things are getting back to normal.

He said the government would after the weekend do a further appraisal of the security situation before coming out with another directive.

The governor had mid this week imposed a 24 hour curfew on the state when hoodlums hijacked the otherwise peaceful EndSARS protest by the youths.

Both public and private properties have been touched by the hoodlums with several police stations not being spared.
