Sportsville Award means so much to me – Elder Kuejubola

One of the nominees for this year’s Sportsville Special Recognition Award, Elder Eddington Kuejubola, has spoken of his joy and excitement about the revered award.

Elder Kuejubola was one of the very few Nigerians who spearheaded the introduction of Women Football in Nigeria in the early 80s as the game struggled to find its feat.

Today, the top sports administrator is being honoured for all his pioneering efforts.

“I feel so honoured for this award, I am because this is the first time one is being recognised for one’s efforts in pioneering the development of Women Football in Nigeria.”

Other nominees will be unfolded in a world press conference next week in Lagos.
