Why I met with finance, environment ministers -Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has given reasons why he met with the Minister of Finance, Hajia Zainab Ahmed  and her Environment counterpart, Senator Sharon Ikeazor in Abuja.

Addressing newsman at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo airport, Owerri on Sunday on his return from the four days official visit to Abuja, Governor Uzodimma said the visits were aimed at seeking funding support for the ecological challenge facing Imo.

He explained that the meetings with both ministers were encouraging and that he is optimistic the Ministers would be of assistance to the State on the issues discussed.

Accompanied by His wife, Barr. Chioma Uzodimma,  the Governor  was received on arrival  by some members of the State Executive Council as well as the wife of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Bola Njoku.
