Royal father donates conveniences to Iyaganku Area Police Command

In a bid to create more conducive environment for the Officers and Men of the Nigerian Police Force, a philanthropist and traditional leader, HRH Oba Olatunde Oginni JP has built and donated a block of two conveniences to the Central Police Station, Iyaganku Area Command, Ibadan.
The conveniences, consisting of two toilets were built by the business mogul and commissioned by the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner in charge of Administration, Bello Adams Mohammed on Thursday 16th November 2023, inside Iyaganku, Ibadan.
The donor who was represented during the commissioning by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Zonal Chairman for Zone XI, Otunba Obafemi Arowosola in his remarks said the welfare of the Nigerian Police is always paramount to him because he has many friends among them, and he’s always ready to contribute and assist the officers of the law in whatever way it is deemed possible because he appreciates what they’re doing.
The Traditional Leader also known as Mojejo 1 however dedicated the facilities to ACP (Otunba) Olusola Agoyi, the Area Commander of Iyaganku Area Command, according to the inscription on the plaque erected at the toilet; saying the ACP is a good friend and in recognition of his good work since he has assumed duty as the Area commander.
The Commissioner of Police who was represented by DCP Mohammed in his remark thanked the donor describing his gesture as a timely intervention to improve sanitation within the Iyaganku area command which will go a long way to ease the stress of the seniors Police officers that will be utilizing the facilities.
