Senator Ifeanyi Ubah dies in London

The Nigerian political and business communities are mourning the loss of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who passed away in a London hotel.

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and representative of Anambra South in the Senate , Ubah was a renowned entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist.

He founded Capital Oil in 2001 and led the company until his death. Ubah is survived by his wife, Uchenna, and five children. His foundation, the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, continues his legacy of giving back to the community.

Ubah, who joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, a few months ago, was billed to seek the party’s ticket ahead of the Anambra State governorship election.

In September 2022, Ubah narrowly escaped an assassination attempt, but tragically, his life was cut short in London.
His death is coming just few days after the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed on.
