Senegal Beat Egypt 1-0 To Reach AFCON Final

Teranga Lions of Senegal has qualified for the finals of the 2025 AFCON finals.

The team defeated Pharaohs of Egypt 1-0 to reach the finals, in the first semi-final match decided in Tanger

Sadio Mane scored the dramatic winner 12 minutes from fulltime to send the West Africans into the finals, ending his former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah’s dreams of a maiden AFCON title.

With this result, they are expected to meet the winner between Nigeria and host nation, Morocco in the second semi- final clash.
