Eraconneckt boss organises ‘Open Forum Nigeria’ to address unemployment rate among youths

Troubled by the high unemployment rate among Nigerian youths, a Nigerian who believes much in giving back to her people most especially the students, Bashirat Aare has organised a colloquium tagged: ‘Open Forum Nigeria’ to address the scourge.
The event held on 15th January 2024 at the Federal Cooperative College Eleyele, Ibadan had hundreds of graduates and undergraduate students and many Students’ Union Leaders in attendance; among them were Comrade Boluwaji Temitope, the Senate President of National Association of Polytechnics’ Students (NAPS) and Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, the NANS Senate President.
The convener, Bashirat Aare is a Software Engineer based in the United State of America, who believes much in giving back to her people most especially the students, graduates and Nigerian youths in general,
she Founded Eraconneckt according to her with passion to rescue the unemployment rate in Africa through Digital Platform.
Speaking with newsmen after the event, Aare said the Forum has been giving back to Africa through human capacity development and empowerment ranging from donation of Entrepreneurship Fund, ICT Tools such as New Laptops, make up kits etc.
“This year ‘Open Forum Nigeria’ recorded a huge success with lot of side attractions such as pitch competition, business interactive session, resume optimisation.
Participants were given opportunity to share their perceived SWOT Analysis and opportunity to expressed their experiences and insights on the challenges of youth unemployment in Nigeria.”
At the end of the forum, a brand-new Laptop was given to one of the participants, Ruth, a final year student of Federal Cooperative College Eleyele Ibadan, Oyo State, who performed extremely well during the Interactive session.
Entrepreneurship Fund was also given to Ligali among many other donations to the Students and Graduates.
Speaking in the same vein, Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, the NANS Senate President commended the effort and tireless sacrifice of Miss. Basirat Aare in given back to Nigerian students, graduates and youths, he appealed to the founder of Eraconneckt not to stop in her push to reduce the unemployment rate in Nigeria and Africa.
“This effort of Miss. Aare is quite commendable and we know that very soon, her sacrifice and good effort will bring good results in reducing the unemployment rate in Nigeria,” said NANS Senate President.
