Society Big Wigs To Storm Ossomala, Anambra State For Owelle Felix Awogu’s Mum Burial
The quiet town of Ossomala in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, is expected to become bubbly with excitement as sports and business big wigs, as well as, creme dela creme of the society would visit the town in honour of Owelle Felix Awogu, as he buries his mother.
Late Madam Nnedinobi Regina Awogu died aged 90 years in February, 2026.
According to Owelle Felix Awogu, the burial arrangements for his late mother Madam Nnedinobi Regina Awogu, begins on Thursday April 16th, with vigil mass at her residence and the burial on Friday, April 17th at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ossomala.
Owelle Awogu, who is also, General manager and Head of Outside broadcast at Africa’s leading television station, SuperSport, disclosed that several distinguished personalities are expected to attend the burial events and they include
Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya; Rt. Hon.Somto Udeze, Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly and Engr. Nnamdi Ezigbo, CEO Slot.
Others are Chief Yemi Idowu, Chairman, Nath Boys; Chikelue Ileonyosi, Anambra state FA Chairman and Malam Shehu Dikko, Chairman, National Sports Commission.
The burial event which has continued to generate interest, has been described as a celebration of the life and times of late Madam Awogu, their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who lived a fulfilled and gracious life, to the benefit of God and humanity.
