It’s now a make or brake encounter for some teams in the Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament as the ultimate group stage fixtures take center stage today at the Stables Sports Center in Surulere Lagos.
As the teams eye a place in the quarter-finals, the table topers in the respective groups will hope to consolidate on their decent run thus far, while those in second and third spots are building up to a more frenetic encounter to remain in the championship.
The stage is now set for another round of fireworks in one of Africa’s most formidable 5-Aside Tournament.
In today’s hostilities, Olaodus FC will file out against All Saints football club, it will be Peckins FC up against New Generation boys, Greater Tomorrow FA will lock-horns against defending Champions White Tigers FC, while Emlajus FA will square up against Young Strikers Football Club.
The first and second placed teams in each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
Sixteen teams across the five divisions in Lagos are competing for honors at this year’s championship.
The 2025 Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament, which got on the way on Sunday,October 26th, will come to a close with a grand finale on Saturday, 15th November.
