Spires 5-Aside Matchday5: Evagrin FC, Net Breakers, Soccer Gems, Others Eye Maximum Points
It’s still a long road to the final of the 2025 Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament in Lagos. The state championship, which got on the way on Sunday, October 26th, has produced plenty of excitement both on and off the pitch.
The group stage matches have raised the playing standard of this year’s event as over 50 goals have been recorded after 14 matches.
The Stables Sports Center in Surulere comes alive today with matchday5 round of fixtures. As expected, the respective teams will hope to build on the fallout from their previous games.
In Today’s lineup: Evagrin FC will lock-horns against Chekas Utd, Blood and Sand FC will file out against Orion and Leon football club, While Soccer Gems FA will file out against Wasola FC. Net Breakers FC will square up against Papa SA in the last match of the day.
Sixteen teams across the five divisions in Lagos are competing for honors at this year’s championship. The tournament will run until the 15th of November.
