Oyo Sports Commissioner commends Ilaji Hotels & Resort CEO

The newly appointed Oyo State commissioner for Youths and Sports, Honorable Wasilat Adefemi Adegoke has expressed her gratitude to the enormous contributions of the CEO Ilaji Hotel and Resorts, Engr. Dotun Sanusi towards the development of youth and sport across the state as well as his continuous support for Shooting Stars Sports Club, (3SC) saying, it became a necessity for her office to identify and appreciate his gesture over the years.
Adegoke who said this through a letter she wrote to officially invite the Ilaji boss to personally join her in watching the NPFL matchday 9 encounter, between 3SC and Kano Pillars at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex Adamasingba on Sunday 19th of November 2023.
She stated that the appreciative gesture is a renewed effort from her office to draw the much needed support and attention to the traditional club, as the presence of dignitaries like Engr. Sanusi will spur the team on in their dream of challenging for the continental spot on the log, against next season.
“This is a renewed effort from my office to draw the much needed support and attention to the team as presence of dignitaries like you will spur the team on in their dream qualifying for continental football next season,” said the first female Commissioner for Youths and Sports in Oyo State.
It will be recalled that the management, staff and players of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, recently celebrated with the Chairman, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts on his 55th birthday where the Executive Chairman of 3SC, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, described him as a patriotic and kind hearted man, with genuine interest of the success of the youths.
