One thing the Super Eagles won’t lack as the Nations Cup gets underway in Cote d’Ivoire is support from the stands.

This much was confirmed by the Nigerian Immigration Attachee in Abidjan, Robert Terlumun Akpenpuun in a chat with newstap.com.ng.

Akpenguun who is a former protocol officer of NFF said the Nigerian community of well over 3.5 million people are warming up to cheer the Eagles right from the very first game against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.

He noted that the Eagles are very popular amongst Ivorian fans pointing out that the Eagles are a big brand.

He disclosed that tickets for the group stage match between hosts Côte d’Ivoire and the Eagles have since been sold out.

Akpenguun who is also a retired grade one referee in the NPFL said the Eagles have what it takes to actualize their dream of DOING IT AGAIN in Côte d’Ivoire.
