Ayomiposi Wins BLA 60th Birthday Golf Kitty
Ayomiposi Ibrahim of Tiger Golf Golf Club has emerged winner of the a birthday kitty organised to celebrates the a golfer, Basohun Ladipo Adegbite popularly known as BLA who clocks 60 after returning with 67 net at the tourney held at Abeokuta Golf Club over the weekend.
Over 200 golfers participated in the carnival-like golf tournament that takes Yoruba traditions and the game of golf to another level as Abeokuta Capital city of Ogun State was held spellbound for the 60th birthday golf tournament to celebrate the distinguished golfer.
The celebrant in his remarks thanked and appreciated the two paramount rulers and other big dignitaries, his darling daughter, the golfers that came from all over the country that graced the event, for their love and prayers to make the event a success.
Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, in his speech lauded the setup of the reception, praised the celebrant for being creative and for his efforts to revive the cultural and traditional values of Yorubaland, while urging him to sustain the beauty of the place. The respected monarch however prayed for the celebrant and his immediate family.
A friend of the celebrant, Otunba Yomi Ojo who is also a member of the Tiger Golf Club in his remark to journalists at events describes the event as top notch while commending the celebrant for creating a mix of Yoruba cultural heritage and the game of golf, he insisted that the golfers will remember the three days of entertaining packed events for a long time.
Other top dignitaries that attended event includes two first-class traditional rulers in Ogun State, Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III and Agura of Gbagura, Oba Saburee Babajide Isola Bakare, Jamolu Il, captains of industries, successful politicians and business moguls, friends and families.
