Strategic Partnership between Ufitfly and Wakanow will set new standard in travel industry – Ogunkeyede
Ufitfly, a leading destination management company, and Wakanow, one of Nigeria’s foremost travel agencies, have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the travel and tourism experience for Nigerians.
This collaboration which was formalized at Wakanow’s Head Office, located at Lekki, Lagos on July, 26th, 2024 marks a significant milestone in the travel and tourism industry.
The partnership will see both companies integrate their offerings and services, providing customers with a seamless travel experience. From September 1, 2024, customers can visit the Ufitfly website to book tickets and make payments online, eliminating the need for physical visits to offices.
This move towards a self-service model underscores the commitment of both companies to improving convenience and accessibility for travellers.
Representing Ufitfly at this strategic meeting were MD/CEO Ajibola Ogunkeyede and Director of Operations Bisola Folarin alongside the Head of Admin and Human Resources, Ademola Adetunji with other members of the management team.
Wakanow was represented by Group CEO Bayo Adedeji and Head of Business Development Gbenga Ontilor.
In this partnership, Ufitfly’s products, including the Educonsult package, European packages, and pilgrimage exercises, will be integrated into Wakanow’s platform while Wakanow will also feature Ufitfly’s offerings and services, providing a united front to the market.

Speaking with newsmen after the event, Ajibola Ogunkeyede, MD/CEO of Ufitfly, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that the agreement represents a new era in the travel industry and mentioning the need to leverage each other’s strengths, to offer customers an unparalleled travel experience.
