This is one Award I have received that doesn’t come with an invoice, if that had been the case, you wouldn’t have seen me here today.

I have known Frank for a while and I make bold to say he’s an impeccable personality. This is a credible Award and I am happy to be associated with it.

Our drive to develop Women football in the country gave raise to the annual Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament. We are happy to have been recognized by FIFA, and being honored by Sportsville today can only mean we are doing the right things.

I wish to dedicate the Award to every girl-child playing football in Nigeria, you are all winners…this is for you!

The crew of Sportsville are men of impeccable personalities, and I truly respect and admire all they are doing for Nigerian sports. I decided to be here in person because of the importance of this Award to me and to Nigeria sports.
This Award is a motivation for me to continue to do more because of the place it came from. It’s credible, unsolicited and this makes it truly special. I must tell you, the organisers of the Sportsville Awards have carved a niche for themselves over the years; reason the top guys in Nigerian sports are seated here today .

The CEO of Sportsville, Frank Ilaboya, is a man of great insight, and this doesn’t come to me as a surprise knowing his antecedents.

The Sportsville Awards is super special, reason everyone is here for this great event. This is a well deserved honor for my State Bayelsa, for the works we have done.
When I was named the Commissioner for Sports in the State, I told my Governor His. Excellency Senator Douye Diri, that we would bring honor back to our beloved State and this Award is one of them.
This is a very credible Award and we the people and Government of Bayelsa State are delighted to associate with.

I stay away from awards in Nigeria because of some of the issues that go with it, but speaking to past recipients of this award, I was told it’s one of the most credible Sports Award in the country.
It’s good to know that a credible organization like Sportsville has deemed us worthy of this prestigious Award. What we are doing with the Remo Stars FC project is our way of proving to those running football in the country that certain things are very much achievable.
