The immediate past President of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) Otunba Tade Azeez has been confirmed dead.
The ebullient No.1 football arbiter who was elected in 2015 in Benin died on Friday April 25 weeks after celebration his birthday on April 6.
Unconfirmed report suggested that the Lagos State football stalwart died after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
He was 63.
