One year in office: Egbe commends Uzodimma, says he has done well in sports

The Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle, Ebi Egbe has given a pat on the back to Imo State governor, Hope Uzodimma as he celebrates one year in office.
Egbe while congratulating Uzodimma said the governor who was a former chairman of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation has done well in the area of sports.
He noted that Governor Uzodimma has since assuming office taken steps to provide the state with modern sporting facilities.
“Gov Uzodimma deserves a pat on the back when it comes to sports. With little or no sporting activities in the last one year because of Covid-19, the governor has focused on developing the state’s sporting facilities. The return of Heartland FC to the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri attests to this. When sports fully return, I am confident Imo athletes would not do badly because they would be training under a more conducive environment,” Egbe said.
Egbe whose outfit Monimichelle installed the floodlight at the Dan Anyiam Stadium however urged the governor to do more by ensuring that the electronic scoreboard at the Owerri stadium is installed and the Sam Okwaraji stadium Orlu is given a facelift.
