Amokachi shines at Adron Games friendly

Flashes of his playing days! That was what Dan Amokachi showed at the Adron Games on Thursday at the Yabatech Sports Centre.

Amokachi was one of the ex Eagles that played a curtain raiser against Adron Homes contractors as part of the event’s opening ceremony.

The Bull as he is fondly called by admirers put the ex Eagles ahead from the spot. Fans at the arena cheered as Amokachi made no mistake from the spot.

The encounter saw the likes of Victor Agali, Taiwo Oloyede, Friday Elahor and Friday Ekpo also proving that football skills have not departed them even as they are not getting any younger.

Amokachi who spoke after the match was full of praise for the Group Managing Director (GMD)  of Adron Homes Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing for what he is doing for sports.

“The Adron Games is a good corporate initiative in the area of sports development,” Amokachi said, even as charged other corporate bodies to emulate Adron Homes.
